Artist Statement : “My work shows the elegance found in plants and animals, especially endangered ones.  The natural world has always inspired me to create and learn from it.  I began creating art as a child, but followed a career in ecology for 20 years.

I use sections from photos of endangered plants and animals to create mandalas.  Mandalas have been used for centuries for meditation and healing by many people and cultures.  They are printed on high quality photographic paper.  Hopefully, others will learn to appreciate those species through my work.”
