| Artist Statement: “My paintings are of landscapes (skyscapes, seascapes), but that’s not what they’re about. They are not physical places, but about my emotional response reflected in the natural world. In this way, they are deeply personal. As a minimalist at heart, I include only the detail needed to draw the viewer into the emotional center through the exploration of light, color, texture and form. I hope to allow the viewer to add their own details and their own emotional attachments.” |
