Artist Statement : “As a child there were few things that I enjoyed more than roaming the woods and fields of a then rural, Lexington, Massachusetts.  Over the years my appreciation of the unique beauty of New England, its cities and towns, rolling woodland and seashore, has only deepened.  I paint the landscapes because, for me, it is the most expressive and evocative of subjects.”
