Artist Statement : “As an artist with a Bachelor of Studio Art degree, I design bead embroidered jewelry, which provokes an emotional connection.  Bead embroidery is an ancient Chinese art form in which an image is created by sewing materials onto fabric.  These materials include fused glass, precious/semi-precious stones, pearls or glass.

I am inspired to create images from my experiences of growing up in New England and having lived in Asia.  These images evolved from Asian techniques and New England landscapes emotionally connecting people to the jewelry by bringing up a particular feeling or memory.”
