| Artist Statement: “My body of work is comprised of raku and saggar fired white stoneware vessels using alternative materials and techniques to create unique surface decoration. Materials include ferrous chloride, inlayed copper thread, copper mesh, colored fused glass, copper netting, white crackle glaze, cobalt and iron sulfates. Vessels are raku fired, fumed or saggar fired in reduction with polished Terra Sigillata.” |
